CreatePackage

Creates a package for use with Amazon OpenSearch Service domains. For more information, see Custom packages for Amazon OpenSearch Service.

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

PackageDescription

Description of the package.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Maximum length of 1024.

Required: No

PackageName

Unique name for the package.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 3. Maximum length of 256.

Pattern: [a-z][a-z0-9\-]+

Required: Yes

PackageSource

The Amazon S3 location from which to import the package.

Type: PackageSource object

Required: Yes

PackageType

The type of package.

Type: String

Valid Values: TXT-DICTIONARY | ZIP-PLUGIN

Required: Yes

An exception for creating a resource that already exists.

ValidationException

An exception for accessing or deleting a resource that doesn't exist.

HTTP Status Code: 400
