QueryAssistant - Amazon Connect

QueryAssistant

Important

This API will be discontinued starting June 1, 2024. To receive generative responses after March 1, 2024, you will need to create a new Assistant in the Amazon Connect console and integrate the Amazon Q in Connect JavaScript library (amazon-q-connectjs) into your applications.

Performs a manual search against the specified assistant. To retrieve recommendations for an assistant, use GetRecommendations.

Request Syntax

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

assistantId

The identifier of the Amazon Q in Connect assistant. Can be either the ID or the ARN. URLs cannot contain the ARN.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

maxResults

The maximum number of results to return per page.

Type: Integer

Valid Range: Minimum value of 1. Maximum value of 100.

nextToken

The token for the next set of results. Use the value returned in the previous response in the next request to retrieve the next set of results.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 2048.

queryCondition

Information about how to query content.

Type: Array of QueryCondition objects

Array Members: Minimum number of 0 items. Maximum number of 1 item.

Required: No

queryText

The text to search for.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 1024.

Required: Yes

sessionId

The identifier of the Amazon Q in Connect session. Can be either the ID or the ARN. URLs cannot contain the ARN.

You do not have sufficient access to perform this action.

HTTP Status Code: 403

RequestTimeoutException

The request reached the service more than 15 minutes after the date stamp on the request or more than 15 minutes after the request expiration date (such as for pre-signed URLs), or the date stamp on the request is more than 15 minutes in the future.

HTTP Status Code: 408

ResourceNotFoundException

The specified resource does not exist.

HTTP Status Code: 404

ValidationException

The input fails to satisfy the constraints specified by a service.
