UpdateRoleCustomPermission

Updates the custom permissions that are associated with a role.

Request Syntax

PUT /accounts/AwsAccountId/namespaces/Namespace/roles/Role/custom-permission HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "CustomPermissionsName": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

AwsAccountId

The ID for the AWS account that you want to create a group in. The AWS account ID that you provide must be the same AWS account that contains your Amazon QuickSight account.

Length Constraints: Fixed length of 12.

Pattern: ^[0-9]{12}$

Required: Yes

Namespace

The namespace that contains the role that you want to update.

Length Constraints: Maximum length of 64.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9._-]*$

Required: Yes

Role

The name of role tht you want to update.

Valid Values: ADMIN | AUTHOR | READER | ADMIN_PRO | AUTHOR_PRO | READER_PRO

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

CustomPermissionsName

The name of the custom permission that you want to update the role with.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9+=,.@_-]+$

Required: Yes
