PutRegistryPolicy

Creates or updates the permissions policy for your registry.

A registry policy is used to specify permissions for another Amazon account and is used when configuring cross-account replication. For more information, see Registry permissions in the Amazon Elastic Container Registry User Guide.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

policyText

The JSON policy text to apply to your registry. The policy text follows the same format as IAM policy text. For more information, see Registry permissions in the Amazon Elastic Container Registry User Guide.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 10240.

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

policyText

The JSON policy text for your registry.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 10240.

registryId

The registry ID.

Type: String

Pattern: [0-9]{12}
