Choosing an Amazon Web Services China Region Free Tier plan
When you sign up for your Amazon Web Services account, you can choose between Free plan or Paid plan. If you are new to Amazon, you receive USD $100 in credits after you create an account. You can also earn up to an additional USD $100 in credits by completing activities. In addition, you have access to over 30 Amazon Web Services services that offer monthly free usage limits.

You can use Free plan to explore Amazon Web Services services and build your applications without incurring costs. Your free plan ends after six months or when your credits are fully used - whichever occurs first. You can monitor your credit balance and free plan information in the Amazon Billing and Cost Management console home

After your free plan expires, your account closes automatically, and you lose access to your resources and data. Amazon retains your content for 90 days before permanently deleting your account and all associated resources. To maintain your account access, you can upgrade to a Paid plan with pay-as-you-go pricing within 90 days. Any remaining credits from your free plan are automatically applied to future Amazon bills.
Note
Free plan doesn't include access to Amazon Web Services services and features that could possibly deplete your credits, or hardware purchases. Some service examples include Amazon Web Services Marketplace, and Reserved Instances. You can access these services by upgrading to the Paid plan.
Free plan accounts are not eligible for other promotional credits and discounts.
Free plan will automatically upgrade to paid plan if you join Amazon Organizations, set up an Amazon Control Tower landing zone, join Amazon Partner Network, create a Professional Services contract, enroll in an Enterprise Agreement with Amazon, purchase an Amazon Skill Builder Team subscription, or designate the Amazon Web Services account as HIPAA or SEC compliant. You can use Paid plan to access all Amazon Web Services services and features immediately. Paid plan is for customers who are ready to build production applications that scale beyond Free Tier credits. With paid plan, you're automatically charged pay-as-you go pricing for any usage beyond your Free Tier credit balance, or if you use Amazon Web Services services where credits don't apply.
