# AWS::IoTSiteWise::Portal Alarms
<a name="aws-properties-iotsitewise-portal-alarms"></a>

Contains the configuration information of an alarm created in an Amazon IoT SiteWise Monitor portal. You can use the alarm to monitor an asset property and get notified when the asset property value is outside a specified range.
