# GetEbsDefaultKmsKeyId

Describes the default Amazon KMS key for EBS encryption by default for your account in this Region.

## Request Parameters

 **DryRun**   
Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is `DryRunOperation`. Otherwise, it is `UnauthorizedOperation`.

The following elements are returned by the service.

 **kmsKeyId**   
The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the default KMS key for encryption by default.  
Type: String

 **requestId**   
The ID of the request.  
Type: String
