GetObjectAccessControlPolicy (SOAP API)
Note
SOAP support over HTTP is deprecated, but it is still available over HTTPS. New Amazon S3 features will not be supported for SOAP. We recommend that you use either the REST API or the Amazon SDKs.
The GetObjectAccessControlPolicy
operation fetches the access control policy for an object.
Important
Replacement must be made for object keys containing special characters (such as carriage returns) when using XML requests. For more information, see XML related object key constraints.
Example
This example retrieves the access control policy for the "Nelson" object from the "quotes" bucket.
