Use DescribeScalingPolicies with an Amazon SDK or CLI - Application Auto Scaling
Services or capabilities described in Amazon Web Services documentation might vary by Region. To see the differences applicable to the China Regions, see Getting Started with Amazon Web Services in China (PDF).

Use DescribeScalingPolicies with an Amazon SDK or CLI

The following code examples show how to use DescribeScalingPolicies.

CLI
Amazon CLI

To describe scaling policies

This example command describes the scaling policies for the ecs service namespace.

Command:

aws application-autoscaling describe-scaling-policies --service-namespace ecs

Output:

There's more on GitHub. Find the complete example and learn how to set up and run in the Amazon Code Examples Repository.

async fn show_policies(client: &Client) -> Result<(), Error> { let response = client .describe_scaling_policies() .service_namespace(ServiceNamespace::Ec2) .send() .await?; println!("Auto Scaling Policies:"); for policy in response.scaling_policies() { println!("{:?}\n", policy); } println!("Next token: {:?}", response.next_token()); Ok(()) }
