If you do not have an Amazon Web Services account, use the following procedure to create one.

To sign up for Amazon Web Services

  1. Open http://www.amazonaws.cn/ and choose Sign Up.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Using Application Auto Scaling in Amazon Web Services Regions

Application Auto Scaling is available in multiple Amazon Web Services Regions. A global Amazon Web Services account allows you to work with resources in most Regions. When using Application Auto Scaling with resources in the China Regions, keep in mind that you must have a separate Amazon Web Services (China) account. In addition, there are some differences in how Application Auto Scaling is implemented.
