DescribeRegionSettings - Amazon Backup

DescribeRegionSettings

Returns the current service opt-in settings for the Region. If service opt-in is enabled for a service, Amazon Backup tries to protect that service's resources in this Region, when the resource is included in an on-demand backup or scheduled backup plan. Otherwise, Amazon Backup does not try to protect that service's resources in this Region.

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

ResourceTypeManagementPreference

Returns whether Amazon Backup fully manages the backups for a resource type.

If "DynamoDB":false, you can enable full Amazon Backup management for DynamoDB backup by enabling Amazon Backup's advanced DynamoDB backup features.

ResourceTypeOptInPreference

Returns a list of all services along with the opt-in preferences in the Region.

The request failed due to a temporary failure of the server.
