Trusted Advisor inspects your Amazon environment and finds opportunities to save money, improve system performance and reliability, or help close security gaps. The Amazon Web Services Support API (available to Business and Enterprise-level Support customers) provides automated access to the functions of the Amazon Web Services Support Center.

How Amazon Web Services Support differs

The following differences apply to Amazon Web Services Support:

  • API access to Amazon Trusted Advisor data via the Amazon Web Services Support API is not available.

  • The Amazon Web Services Support App is not available.

  • Changing the severity level of existing support cases isn’t supported.
