Amazon CodePipeline in Amazon Web Services in China

Amazon CodePipeline (CodePipeline) is a continuous delivery service you can use to model, visualize, and automate the steps required to release your software. You can quickly model and configure the different stages of a software release process. CodePipeline automates the steps required to release your software changes continuously.

Region availability

CodePipeline is available in the following regions in China:

  • Beijing Region

  • Ningxia Region

How Amazon CodePipeline differs

The following differences apply to Amazon CodePipeline:

  • CodePipeline cross-region actions are only available between the China (Beijing) and China (Ningxia) Regions.

  • You cannot create notification rules for CodePipeline in the China (Beijing) and China (Ningxia) Regions. Amazon CodeStar Notifications is not available in the China (Beijing) and China (Ningxia) Regions.

  • The following actions/provider types are not available:

    • CodeStarSourceConnection source action for Bitbucket, GitHub, and GitHub Enterprise Server connections

    • Amazon CloudFormation StackSets deploy action

    • Amazon Device Farm test action

    • Amazon Step Functions invoke action

    • GitHub version 1 source action

    • Jenkins build action

    • Snyk invoke action
