Region availability

Amazon DocumentDB is available in the following regions in China:

  • China (Ningxia) Region

How Amazon DocumentDB differs

The following differences apply to Amazon DocumentDB:

  • Copying cluster snapshots from other Amazon Regions to the China (Ningxia) Region is not available.

  • Copying cluster snapshots from the China (Ningxia) Region to other Amazon Regions is not available.

  • Amazon DocumentDB elastic clusters are not available.

  • Amazon DocumentDB global clusters are not available.

  • The db.r8g and db.r4 instance classes are not available.

  • The db.r6gd instance class is available in the China (Beijing) Region only and is not available in the China (Ningxia) Region.
