FreeRTOS in Amazon Web Services China

FreeRTOS is an operating system that makes microcontroller-based edge devices easy to program, deploy, secure, and maintain. FreeRTOS extends the FreeRTOS kernel, a popular open source operating system for microcontrollers, with software libraries that can be used to securely connect devices (locally and to the cloud) and update them remotely.

Region availability

FreeRTOS is available in the following regions in China:

  • China (Beijing) Region

  • China (Ningxia) Region

How FreeRTOS differs

The following differences apply to FreeRTOS:

  • Currently, Amazon IoT Device Tester for FreeRTOS is not available in the China (Beijing) and China (Ningxia) Regions.
