Amazon FSx in Amazon Web Services in China
Amazon FSx provides fully managed third-party file systems with the native compatibility and feature sets for workloads such as Microsoft Windows–based storage, high-performance computing, machine learning, and electronic design automation. Amazon FSx supports three file system types: FSx for Lustre, FSx for ONTAP and FSx for Windows File Server.

Amazon FSx is available in the following regions in China:

How Amazon FSx differs
The following differences apply to Amazon FSx:

For Amazon FSx for Windows File Server, the Multi-AZ file system deployment type is not available in the China (Beijing) region.

For Amazon FSx for Lustre, the Scratch 1 and Scratch 2 file system deployment types are not available.

For Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP, the following features are not available:

Nitro-based encryption in transit

Second-generation file systems

Accelerated data tiering

Non-Volatile Memory Express over TCP (NVMe/TCP)

Reading data from a volume while it is being restored from a backup

For Amazon FSx for OpenZFS, the following features aren’t available:
