Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) is a scalable, highly available, and managed Apache Cassandra–compatible database service.

Region availability

Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) is available in the following regions in China:

  • China (Beijing) Region

  • China (Ningxia) Region

How Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) differs

The following differences apply to Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra):

  • Service-specific credentials for Amazon Keyspaces are associated with a specific Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM) user. To access Amazon Keyspaces in the China (Beijing) and China (Ningxia) Regions, you must use service-specific credentials for IAM users in these Regions. You cannot use service specific credentials for IAM users created for other Amazon Regions.

  • Amazon Keyspaces Multi-Region Replication is not available.
