 Amazon Verified Permissions provides customer applications with the ability to control which users can perform which actions within the application. Verified Permissions uses policies written in the to describe access using the standard PARX model: principal, actions, resource, and context.

 Amazon Verified Permissions is available in the following regions in China:
+  China (Beijing) Region
+  China (Ningxia) Region

## How Verified Permissions differs

The following differences apply to Amazon Verified Permissions:
+ AVP native integration with Amazon Cognito as identity source is not available.
