<a name="support-devops-agent-enable"></a>

Enabling Amazon DevOps Agent from the Support Center Console creates an agent space and the Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM) resources required by the agent and its operator web app. Activation runs in the US East (N. Virginia) (`us-east-1`) Region.

**To enable Amazon DevOps Agent**

1. Sign in to the [Amazon Support Center Console](https://console.amazonaws.cn/support).

1. Navigate to your Amazon Web Services Support plan management page.

1. On the **Amazon DevOps Agent** card, choose **Enable**.

1. In the activation dialog, review the description, choose **Enable DevOps Agent**, and then choose **Save**.

Activation includes the following four phases:
+ Setting up monitoring permissions
+ Creating the agent space
+ Setting up operator access
+ Connecting the agent to your Amazon Web Services account

When activation completes, you can open the Amazon DevOps Agent web app from the success message link, or anytime from the Amazon Web Services Management Console.
