# Deleting custom billing views

Deleting a custom billing view permanently removes access to the custom billing view for all users. This action cannot be undone. Once a custom billing view is deleted, it will no longer appear in the **Choose billing view** menu in the navigation pane for the management account and any member accounts with which the view was shared. End users attempting to access the URL of the deleted custom billing view will receive an error message.

**To delete a custom billing view**

1. Open the Billing and Cost Management console at [https://console.amazonaws.cn/costmanagement/](https://console.amazonaws.cn/costmanagement/).

1. In the navigation pane, choose **Cost Management Preferences**.

1. Choose the **Billing View** tab.

1. Select the custom billing view you want to delete.

1. Choose **Actions**, and then choose **Delete view** from the dropdown list.

1. In the dialog box that appears, choose **Delete**.
