RemoveTagsFromResource

Removes metadata tags from an Amazon DMS resource, including replication instance, endpoint, subnet group, and migration task. For more information, see Tag data type description.

Request Syntax

{ "ResourceArn": "string", "TagKeys": [ "string" ] }

Request Parameters

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

ResourceArn

An Amazon DMS resource from which you want to remove tag(s). The value for this parameter is an Amazon Resource Name (ARN).

Type: String

Required: Yes

TagKeys

The tag key (name) of the tag to be removed.

Type: Array of strings

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

InvalidResourceStateFault

The resource is in a state that prevents it from being used for database migration.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ResourceNotFoundFault

The resource could not be found.
