Terminating an environment

To avoid incurring charges for unused Amazon resources, you can use the Amazon Toolkit for Eclipse to terminate a running environment. For details about environment termination, see Terminate an Elastic Beanstalk environment.

To terminate an environment
  1. In the Amazon Toolkit for Eclipse, click the Amazon Explorer pane. Expand the Elastic Beanstalk node.

  2. Expand the Elastic Beanstalk application and right-click on the Elastic Beanstalk environment.

  3. Click Terminate Environment. It will take a few minutes for Elastic Beanstalk to terminate the Amazon resources running in the environment.
