Licensing information for using custom images

You can build custom images with EMR Serverless to perform specific tasks or to use specific versions of a software package. Modification and distribution of custom images can be subject to rules and licensing terms. The licensing text appears in the subsection that follows.

Copyright Amazon.com and its affiliates; all rights reserved. This software is Amazon Content under Amazon Customer Agreement and may not be distributed without permission. In addition to the permissions in Amazon Intellectual Property License, the Amazon Licensor grants you these additional permissions:

Create, Copy, and Use Derivatives of the Amazon Content is permitted provided that the following conditions are met:

  • You do not modify the Amazon Content itself, and any Derivatives are strictly the result of Your addition of new content.

  • Internal reproductions must retain the above copyright notice.

  • External distribution, in source or binary form, with or without modification, is not permitted under the terms of this license.
