UpdateMalwareScanSettings

Updates the malware scan settings.

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

detectorId

The unique ID of the detector that specifies the GuardDuty service where you want to update scan settings.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 300.

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

ebsSnapshotPreservation

An enum value representing possible snapshot preservation settings.

Type: String

Valid Values: NO_RETENTION | RETENTION_WITH_FINDING

Required: No

scanResourceCriteria

Represents the criteria to be used in the filter for selecting resources to scan.

Type: ScanResourceCriteria object

Required: No

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200
