Amazon IoT SiteWise query language
With the Amazon IoT SiteWise data retrieval ExecuteQuery API operation, you can retrieve information about declarative structural definitions, and the timeseries data associated with them, from the following:

assets
-
measurements
-
metrics
-
transforms
-
aggregates
This can be done with SQL like query statements, in a single API request.

This feature is available in all Regions where both Amazon IoT SiteWise and Amazon IoT TwinMaker are available, except Amazon GovCloud (US-West).
Prerequisites
Amazon IoT SiteWise requires permissions to integrate with Amazon IoT TwinMaker so that it can organize and model industrial data.
Before you can retrieve information about models, assets, measurements, metrics, transforms, and aggregates, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

Service-linked roles for both Amazon IoT SiteWise and Amazon IoT TwinMaker setup in your Amazon Web Services account. For more information about service-linked roles, see Using service-linked roles in the IAM User Guide.

An enabled Amazon IoT SiteWise integration for your IAM role. For more information, see Integrating Amazon IoT SiteWise and Amazon IoT TwinMaker.

An Amazon IoT TwinMaker workspace with ID
IoTSiteWiseDefaultWorkspace
