# DeleteInput

Deletes an input.

## URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [inputName](#API_DeleteInput_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="iotevents-DeleteInput-request-uri-inputName"></a>
The name of the input to delete.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `^[a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z0-9_]*$`   
Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.
