Using the API - Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra)
Services or capabilities described in Amazon Web Services documentation might vary by Region. To see the differences applicable to the China Regions, see Getting Started with Amazon Web Services in China (PDF).

Using the API

You can use the Amazon SDK and the Amazon Command Line Interface (Amazon CLI) to work interactively with Amazon Keyspaces. You can use the API for data language definition (DDL) operations, such as creating a keyspace or a table. In addition, you can use infrastructure as code (IaC) services and tools such as Amazon CloudFormation and Terraform.

Before you can use the Amazon CLI with Amazon Keyspaces, you must get an access key ID and secret access key. For more information, see How to create and configure Amazon credentials for Amazon Keyspaces.

For a complete listing of all operations available for Amazon Keyspaces in the API, see Amazon Keyspaces API Reference.
