Administration for Amazon Quick

As an administrator, you decide who can access your Amazon Quick account and what those users can do in it. You also configure the security and encryption settings that protect your data. You do this work in the Amazon Quick administration console. Some sections require Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions, and you can perform some tasks programmatically with the Amazon Quick API.

Use this section to do the following:

  • Set up identity and access, including IAM Identity Center, IAM federation, Active Directory, external identity providers, and multi-factor authentication.

  • Manage users, groups, and subscriptions.

  • Provision SPICE capacity and index capacity for unstructured data.

  • Connect to your data through VPC connections and Amazon data sources.

  • Secure your account with domain allowlisting, namespaces, IP and VPC restrictions, and Amazon Key Management Service customer managed keys.

  • Control permissions with default access settings, custom permissions, IAM policy assignments, and limit profiles.

  • Govern usage with approval workflows and data loss prevention.

  • Customize branding and agent settings, and monitor usage metrics.
