How collaborator billing works

When you add a collaborator to your Amazon Quick Plus or Max account, billing for their seat begins when the collaborator accepts the invitation – not when the invitation is sent.

When billing starts

  • You incur no charges for a pending invitation. You are charged only for collaborators who accept.

  • When a collaborator accepts, billing begins for their seat at a prorated rate for the remainder of your current billing cycle.

  • The prorated charge appears on your next invoice. It is not charged to your payment method on the day the invitation is accepted.

Removing a collaborator

  • Removing a collaborator does not result in a refund for the current billing period.

  • The seat charge applies through the end of your current billing cycle, regardless of when the collaborator is removed.

  • This applies even if the collaborator is removed shortly after accepting the invitation.

Canceling a pending invitation

  • If a collaborator never accepts the invitation, your account incurs no charge for that seat.

  • You can cancel a pending invitation at any time at no cost.

Annual subscription terms

When you commit to an annual plan, your subscription is billed for the full annual term.

  • Annual subscriptions cannot be canceled mid-term.

  • Cancellations and downgrades take effect at the end of your annual term. You receive no refund for the remaining period.

  • Upgrades to a higher plan during your annual term apply a credit for the unused portion of your current annual subscription, and you are charged the new plan's annual rate for the remainder of your term.

Billing cycle and proration

Amazon Quick bills on a calendar-month basis.

  • Your billing month starts at 12:00 AM (UTC) on the first day of the month and ends at 11:59 PM (UTC) on the last day.

  • If you subscribe partway through a month, your first charge is prorated for the remaining days in that month. Your next full billing cycle starts on the 1st of the following month.

  • If you upgrade mid-month, you are billed immediately for the full new plan rate minus a full credit for your previous plan's monthly charge. Overage charges, if applicable, appear as a separate line item at the end of the billing cycle.

Changing your plan

To upgrade, downgrade, or change your Amazon Quick plan, choose Manage plan on the Plan & Billing page. For detailed instructions on the upgrade process, including entering contact information and payment details, see Upgrading your Amazon Quick plan.
