Using the Amazon Quick Suite menu and landing page

After you sign in to Amazon Quick Suite, you see the Amazon Quick Suite landing page. This page provides tabs for your analyses, dashboards, folders, data, and more. It also provides a menu bar at the top, with options for the following:

  • Searching Amazon Quick Suite

  • Accessing your user profile (managing Quick Suite, language selection, and help)

  • Interacting with the Quick Suite chat agent

  • Choosing the Amazon Region that you want to work in

  • Discovering helpful resources (documentation, how-to videos, community forum, blogs, and more)

Note

Consult your administrator before changing your Amazon Web Services Region. Your default Amazon Web Services Region is configured by your Amazon Quick Suite administrator. Changing the Amazon Region changes where your work is stored.

Using the navigation menu on the left, you can explore how to work with dashboards, build powerful analyses, manage your data sources, organize content with folders, leverage advanced analytics capabilities, and more.

The following are all the available Amazon Quick Suite capabilities:

  • Agents – Build AI agents that intelligently analyze, plan, and work with your data to help complete tasks.

  • Spaces – Work with Amazon Q using specific files, data, and information to complete projects or organize teams.

  • Scenarios – Elevate your data exploration in the AI-driven workbook canvas that is enhanced with generative analysis capablities. Allow AI to suggest relevant data to enrich your insight discovery.

  • Stories – Use Amazon Q prompts and visuals to produce a story that incorporates the details that you provide.

  • Topics – Create a new generative topic to introduce the generative Q&A experience for users.

  • Dashboards – Share interactive data visualizations with your audience. You can explore and filter visualizations according to your specific needsm and generate snapshots for easy sharing.

  • Analyses – Dive deep into your data with robust visualization and analysis tools. Create charts and graphs to uncover insights before publishing to a wider audience.

  • Favorites – Favorite the dashboards and analyses you want to easily find later.

  • Folders – Organize your analyses and dashboards in folders.

  • Automations – Create automated processes that reduce manual intervention and save valuable time.

  • Flows – Create and share intelligent workflows to accomplish goals quickly and predictably.

  • Data – Connect to data and visualize, create specialized chat assistants, or mix both.

  • Actions – Perform tasks such as creating and updating tickets, managing incidents, and accessing project information directly.

Customizing the homepage layout

The Quick Suite homepage provides a customizable workspace where you can add widgets that enhance your analytics experience. The homepage features three key widget types:

  • Quick Suite use cases – Offers quick access to tutorial videos and onboarding resources.

  • Recents – Displays recently viewed resources for faster navigation.

  • Business Metrics – Allows you to pin important visualizations and metrics directly from your dashboards.

You can easily add, remove, and rearrange these widgets to create a personalized homepage that suits your workflow.

To add a widget
  1. From the Quick Suite homepage, choose Add widget.

  2. You can choose to add either Quick Suite use cases, Recents, or Business metrics.

    1. If Quick Suite use cases is already added to the homepage, this option will be unavailable. If you previously deleted the widget, choose Add widget then Quick Suite use cases to add it back to the homepage. Quick Suite use cases always appears at the top of the homepage to ensure easy access to learning resources, even if previously dismissed.

    2. If you choose Recents, a widget containing recently viewed resources is added to the homepage. Choose a resource to quickly pick up where you left off.

    3. If you choose Business metrics, you will be redirected to the Dashboards page. From there, you can open a dashboard and choose which visual you would like to pin to the homepage by selecting the home + icon.

To delete a widget
  1. Navigate to the widget you would like to delete.

  2. Choose the three-dot menu on the top right of the widget.

  3. Choose Delete.

  4. The selected widget should be removed from the homepage.

To reorder a widget
  1. Select the widget you would like to reorder.

  2. When the widget is selected, the handle icon appears on the top left of the widget.

  3. Choose the handle icon and drag the widget to swap its place with another widget.

To resize a widget
  1. Select the widget you would like to resize.

  2. When the widget is selected, a resize icon appears on the bottom right.

  3. Choose the resize icon and drag the widget up or down to reach your desired size.

Accessing user profiles

To access the user profile menu, choose the user icon at the upper right of any page in Amazon Quick Suite. Use this menu to manage Amazon Quick Suite features, choose a language, change your Amazon Web Services Region, get help from the documentation, or sign out of Amazon Quick Suite.

The following options are available from the user profile menu:

  • Manage Quick Suite – If you have appropriate permissions, you can access administrative functions such as managing users, subscriptions, SPICE capacity, and account settings.

  • Language setting – Choose the language you want to use in the Amazon Quick Suite user interface.

  • Region setting – Choose the Amazon Web Services Region that you want to work in.

    Note

    Consult your administrator before changing your Amazon Web Services Region. Your default Amazon Web Services Region is configured by your Amazon Quick Suite administrator. Changing the Amazon Region changes where your work is stored.

  • Help – This will open the official Quick Suite documentation, which you can view online, in Kindle, or as a PDF.

  • Sign out – Choose this option to sign out of Amazon Quick Suite and your Amazon session.
