HA cluster configuration on SLES

These instructions are applicable for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 12 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 15.

Cluster installation

SLES for SAP Images sold by Amazon through Amazon Marketplace comes with pre-installed SUSE HAE packages. Ensure you have the latest version of the following packages. If needed, update them using the zypper command. If you are using BYOS images, ensure that the following packages are installed:

  • corosync

  • crmsh

  • fence-agents

  • ha-cluster-bootstrap

  • pacemaker

  • patterns-ha-ha_sles

  • resource-agents

  • cluster-glue
