Actions, resources, and condition keys for Amazon Message Gateway Service

Amazon Message Gateway Service (service prefix: ssmmessages) provides the following service-specific operations, resources, actions, and condition keys for use in IAM permission policies.

Actions defined by Amazon Message Gateway Service

You can specify the following actions in the Action element of an IAM policy statement. Use policies to grant permissions to perform an operation in Amazon. When you use an action in a policy, you usually allow or deny access to the API operation or CLI command with the same name. However, in some cases, a single action controls access to more than one operation. Alternatively, some operations require several different actions.

Resource types defined by Amazon Message Gateway Service

Amazon Message Gateway Service does not support specifying a resource ARN in the Resource element of an IAM policy statement.

Condition keys for Amazon Message Gateway Service

Amazon Message Gateway Service defines the following condition keys that can be used in the Condition element of an IAM policy.

Filters access by the ARN of the instance from which the request originated

ssm:SourceInstanceARN

Filters access by verifying the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the Amazon Systems Manager's managed instance from which the request is made. This key is not present when the request comes from the managed instance authenticated with an IAM role associated with EC2 instance profile
