## Amazon Service Catalog
<a name="Welcome_AWS_Service_Catalog"></a>

[Amazon Service Catalog](http://www.amazonaws.cn/servicecatalog) enables organizations to create and manage catalogs of IT services that are approved for use in Amazon.

The Amazon Service Catalog API provides programmatic control over all end-user actions as an alternative to using the Amazon Web Services Management Console. When you use the API, you can write your own custom interfaces and apps, obtain fine-grained control of end user product provisioning operations, integrate resource provisioning into your orchestration pipelines, and access a central location that hosts your applications with their resources.

If you are new to Amazon Service Catalog, see the [Amazon Service Catalog Administrator Guide](https://docs.amazonaws.cn/servicecatalog/latest/adminguide/introduction.html) and the [Amazon Service Catalog User Guide](https://docs.amazonaws.cn/servicecatalog/latest/userguide/introduction.html).

## AppRegistry

Amazon Service Catalog AppRegistry enables organizations to understand the application context of their Amazon resources. AppRegistry provides a repository of your applications, their resources, and the application metadata that you use within your enterprise.
