Compare SSM document versions

You can compare the differences in content between versions of Amazon Systems Manager (SSM) documents in the Systems Manager Documents console. When comparing versions of an SSM document, differences between the content of the versions are highlighted.

To compare SSM document content (console)

  1. Open the Amazon Systems Manager console at https://console.amazonaws.cn/systems-manager/.

  2. In the navigation pane, choose Documents.

  3. In the documents list, choose the document whose content you want to compare.

  4. On the Content tab, select Compare versions, and choose the version of the document you want to compare the content to.
