ListTagsForResource

Returns a list of the tags that are assigned to a specified resource.

Request Syntax


GET /tags/resourceArn HTTP/1.1

The request uses the following URI parameters.

The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the resource that contains the tags to return.

Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

The list of tags assigned to the specified resource. This is the list of tags returned in the response.

ResourceNotFoundException

The resource specified in the request does not exist.
