Associates an agent with a traffic distribution group.

Request Syntax

PUT /traffic-distribution-group/TrafficDistributionGroupId/user HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "InstanceId": "string", "UserId": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

TrafficDistributionGroupId

The identifier of the traffic distribution group. This can be the ID or the ARN if the API is being called in the Region where the traffic distribution group was created. The ARN must be provided if the call is from the replicated Region.

Pattern: ^(arn:(aws|aws-us-gov):connect:[a-z]{2}-[a-z-]+-[0-9]{1}:[0-9]{1,20}:traffic-distribution-group/)?[a-f0-9]{8}-[a-f0-9]{4}-[a-f0-9]{4}-[a-f0-9]{4}-[a-f0-9]{12}$

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

InstanceId

The identifier of the Amazon Connect instance. You can find the instance ID in the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the instance.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.

Required: Yes

UserId

The identifier of the user account. This can be the ID or the ARN of the user.

Type: String

Required: Yes

Response Syntax
