StartCrawler - AWS Glue

StartCrawler

Starts a crawl using the specified crawler, regardless of what is scheduled. If the crawler is already running, returns a CrawlerRunningException.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

Name

Name of the crawler to start.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

CrawlerRunningException

The operation cannot be performed because the crawler is already running.

HTTP Status Code: 400

EntityNotFoundException

A specified entity does not exist

HTTP Status Code: 400

OperationTimeoutException

The operation timed out.
