DeleteDataSource

Assigns the DELETED status to a DataSource, rendering it unusable.

After using the DeleteDataSource operation, you can use the GetDataSource operation to verify that the status of the DataSource changed to DELETED.

Caution: The results of the DeleteDataSource operation are irreversible.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

DataSourceId

A user-supplied ID that uniquely identifies the DataSource.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.

Pattern: [a-zA-Z0-9_.-]+

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

DataSourceId

A user-supplied ID that uniquely identifies the DataSource. This value should be identical to the value of the DataSourceID in the request.

InternalServerException

An error on the server occurred when trying to process a request.

An error on the client occurred. Typically, the cause is an invalid input value.
