Limitations

  • This feature is available in the following Amazon Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Sydney).

  • You can connect up to 2 managed knowledge bases per Amazon Quick instance.

  • The managed knowledge base and Amazon Quick instance must be in the same Amazon Region.

  • Only Amazon Bedrock managed knowledge bases are supported. Custom knowledge bases with self-managed vector stores are not supported.

  • Cross-account access requires a resource policy on the knowledge base.
