UpdateExperiment

Adds, updates, or removes the description of an experiment. Updates the display name of an experiment.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

Description

The description of the experiment.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Maximum length of 3072.

Pattern: .*

Required: No

DisplayName

The name of the experiment as displayed. The name doesn't need to be unique. If DisplayName isn't specified, ExperimentName is displayed.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 120.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9](-*[a-zA-Z0-9]){0,119}

Required: No

ExperimentName

The name of the experiment to update.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 120.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9](-*[a-zA-Z0-9]){0,119}

Required: Yes

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

ExperimentArn

The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the experiment.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Maximum length of 256.

Pattern: arn:aws[a-z\-]*:sagemaker:[a-z0-9\-]*:[0-9]{12}:experiment/.*

ConflictException

There was a conflict when you attempted to modify a SageMaker entity such as an Experiment or Artifact.

Resource being access is not found.
