IAmazonAutoScaling.DeleteTags Method (DeleteTagsRequest)

Deletes the specified tags.

Parameters

request: Type: Amazon.AutoScaling.Model.DeleteTagsRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteTags service method.

Return Value

Type: DeleteTagsResponse

The response from the DeleteTags service method, as returned by AutoScaling.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ResourceContentionException	You already have a pending update to an Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling resource (for example, an Auto Scaling group, instance, or load balancer).
ResourceInUseException	The operation can't be performed because the resource is in use.

This example deletes the specified tag from the specified Auto Scaling group.

To delete a tag from an Auto Scaling group
