Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateInvalidation and EndCreateInvalidation.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CloudFront.Model.CreateInvalidationRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateInvalidation service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateInvalidation service method, as returned by CloudFront.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException Access denied.
BatchTooLargeException Invalidation batch specified is too large.
InconsistentQuantitiesException The value of Quantity and the size of Items don't match.
InvalidArgumentException An argument is invalid.
MissingBodyException This operation requires a body. Ensure that the body is present and the Content-Type header is set.
NoSuchDistributionException The specified distribution does not exist.
TooManyInvalidationsInProgressException You have exceeded the maximum number of allowable InProgress invalidation batch requests, or invalidation objects.
