Returns information about a specified approval rule template.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginGetApprovalRuleTemplate and EndGetApprovalRuleTemplate.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CodeCommit.Model.GetApprovalRuleTemplateRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the GetApprovalRuleTemplate service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the GetApprovalRuleTemplate service method, as returned by CodeCommit.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
ApprovalRuleTemplateDoesNotExistException The specified approval rule template does not exist. Verify that the name is correct and that you are signed in to the Amazon Web Services Region where the template was created, and then try again.
ApprovalRuleTemplateNameRequiredException An approval rule template name is required, but was not specified.
InvalidApprovalRuleTemplateNameException The name of the approval rule template is not valid. Template names must be between 1 and 100 valid characters in length. For more information about limits in CodeCommit, see Quotas in the CodeCommit User Guide.
