Creates a public IPv4 address pool. A public IPv4 pool is an EC2 IP address pool required for the public IPv4 CIDRs that you own and bring to Amazon Web Services to manage with IPAM. IPv6 addresses you bring to Amazon Web Services, however, use IPAM pools only. To monitor the status of pool creation, use DescribePublicIpv4Pools.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreatePublicIpv4Pool and EndCreatePublicIpv4Pool.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.EC2.Model.CreatePublicIpv4PoolRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreatePublicIpv4Pool service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreatePublicIpv4Pool service method, as returned by EC2.
