Registers sources (network interfaces) with the specified transit gateway multicast group.

A multicast source is a network interface attached to a supported instance that sends multicast traffic. For information about supported instances, see Multicast Considerations in Amazon VPC Transit Gateways.

After you add the source, use SearchTransitGatewayMulticastGroups to verify that the source was added to the multicast group.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginRegisterTransitGatewayMulticastGroupSources and EndRegisterTransitGatewayMulticastGroupSources.

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the RegisterTransitGatewayMulticastGroupSources service method.

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the RegisterTransitGatewayMulticastGroupSources service method, as returned by EC2.
