Deletes a Device Defender detect custom metric.

Requires permission to access the DeleteCustomMetric action.

Before you can delete a custom metric, you must first remove the custom metric from all security profiles it's a part of. The security profile associated with the custom metric can be found using the ListSecurityProfiles API with metricName set to your custom metric name.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDeleteCustomMetric and EndDeleteCustomMetric.

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

The response from the DeleteCustomMetric service method, as returned by IoT.
