Deletes the specified fleet metric. Returns successfully with no error if the deletion is successful or you specify a fleet metric that doesn't exist.

Requires permission to access the DeleteFleetMetric action.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDeleteFleetMetric and EndDeleteFleetMetric.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.IoT.Model.DeleteFleetMetricRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteFleetMetric service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the DeleteFleetMetric service method, as returned by IoT.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
InternalFailureException An unexpected error has occurred.
InvalidRequestException The request is not valid.
ServiceUnavailableException The service is temporarily unavailable.
ThrottlingException The rate exceeds the limit.
UnauthorizedException You are not authorized to perform this operation.
VersionConflictException An exception thrown when the version of an entity specified with the expectedVersion parameter does not match the latest version in the system.
