Note:

When passing EnableUserRequest as input to an Aws::Client method, you can use a vanilla Hash:

{
  user_name: "Username", # required
  authentication_type: "API", # required, accepts API, SAML, USERPOOL
}

#authentication_typeString

The authentication type for the user. You must specify USERPOOL.

Possible values:

  • API
  • SAML
  • USERPOOL

Returns:

  • (String)

    The authentication type for the user.

#user_nameString

The email address of the user.

Users\' email addresses are case-sensitive. During login, if they specify an email address that doesn\'t use the same capitalization as the email address specified when their user pool account was created, a \"user does not exist\" error message displays.

Returns:

  • (String)

    The email address of the user.
