Amazon EMR on EKS service endpoints and quotas
The following are the service endpoints and service quotas for Amazon EMR on EKS. To connect programmatically to an Amazon service, you use an endpoint. In addition to the standard Amazon endpoints, some Amazon services offer FIPS endpoints in selected Regions. For more information, see Amazon service endpoints. Service quotas, also referred to as limits, are the maximum number of service resources or operations for your Amazon account. For more information, see Amazon service quotas.

Service quotas
Amazon EMR on EKS throttles the following API requests for each Amazon account on a per-Region basis. For more information about how throttling is applied, see API Request Throttling in the Amazon EC2 API Reference. You can request an increase to API throttling quotas for your Amazon account, following the guide that follows.

Throttle quota for all EMR on EKS API requests | 200 | 20 |
When you create your Amazon account, we set default quotas (also referred to as limits) on your Amazon resources on a per-Region basis. If you attempt to exceed the quota for a resource, the request fails. If this happens, you can reduce your resource usage or request a quota increase.
The Service Quotas console is a central location where you can view and manage your quotas for Amazon services, and request quota increases for many of the resources that you use. Use the quota information provided here to manage your Amazon infrastructure. Plan to request any quota increases in advance of the time that you'll need them.
View quotas and request quota increases
You can view your current service quotas for each Region by using the Service Quotas console. For detailed instructions, see Viewing Service quotas in the Service Quotas User Guide.
You can request a quota increase from either the Amazon Management Console or using the Amazon CLI. The steps are detailed in Requesting a quota increase.
