Scaling SSD storage capacity and provisioned IOPS - FSx for ONTAP
Services or capabilities described in Amazon Web Services documentation might vary by Region. To see the differences applicable to the China Regions, see Getting Started with Amazon Web Services in China (PDF).

Scaling SSD storage capacity and provisioned IOPS

When you need additional storage for the active portion of your data set, you can increase the solid state drive (SSD) storage capacity of your Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP file system. You can do so by using the Amazon FSx console, Amazon FSx API, or Amazon Command Line Interface (Amazon CLI).

You can also change the provisioned SSD IOPS for your file system, either when you increase the primary SSD storage capacity or as an independent action. For more information on scaling a file system's primary SSD storage capacity and the amount of provisioned IOPS, see Updating file system SSD storage and IOPS.
